Presto Pizza

Sexta-feira fui almoçar à Presto Pizza e adorei! Pensava que, tal como na Pizza Hut, os pedidos iriam demorar imenso a chegar, no entanto isso não aconteceu, aliás fiquei muito surpreendida uma vez que o local estava a abarrotar e a comida chegou rapidíssimo. A pizza estava deliciosa, a massa era fina mas cheia de farinha, coisa que adoro. Para bebidas, pedimos sangria de vinho tinto e digo desde já que foi a melhor sangria que já bebi, muito doce e suave. Espero que tenham tido um bom Domingo. Kiss, Catarina.

Friday I had lunch at Presto Pizza and loved it! I thought, as it happens at Pizza Hut, the orders would take a long time to come, however they did not, in fact I was very surprised because the place was packed full and the food arrived very fast. The pizza was delicious, the dough was fine but full of flour, which I love. For drinks, we drank red wine Sangria and I'll say straight away that it was the best Sangria I have ever drank, very sweet and smooth. I hope you had a good Sunday. Kiss, Catarina.

La Ricotta

No outro dia decidi ir almoçar ao La Ricotta. E vou dar-vos uma espécie de review. Ora bem, primeiro devo dizer que, para o ambiente, a apresentação dos pratos e a comida, que é divinal, o preço é bastante acessível, os pratos tinham os aspecto muito muito gourmet e o espaço é fabuloso. O que deixa MUITO a desejar é o atendimento, muito sinceramente. Estava com alguma pressa e perguntei ao empregado de mesa se podia ser mais rápido. Só vos tenho a dizer que cheguei lá às 13.30h e saí às 16h! Muito muito mau atendimento, ficámos imenso tempo à espera da comida, já para não falar da simpatia extrema dos funcionários, e sim, estou a ser muito irónica! Bem, é tudo, volto lá porque o ambiente e a comida são fantásticos mas vou exigir um melhor atendimento. Espero que tenham tido uma boa Terça-feira. Kiss, Catarina.

The other day I decided to go to lunch at La Ricotta. And I'll give you kind of a review. Well, first I must say that the environment, the presentation of the food and the food itself were divine, and, having that in mind, the price is really affordable. The aspect that leaves MUCH to be desired is the service, very sincerely. I was in a hurry and asked the waiter if he could be faster. I just have to say that I got there at 1.30pm and left at 16pm! Very very poor service, we were a long time waiting for the food, not to mention the extreme friendliness of the staff, and yes, I'm being very ironic! Well that's all, I go back there because the atmosphere and the food are fantastic but will require a better service. I hope you had a good Tuesday. Kiss, Catarina.

TAKE A SUNDAY WALK

Como típica domingueira portuguesa, ontem fui passear de carro para a Ribeira. Adoro os cafés mesmo em cima do rio Douro e as lareiras exteriores, tudo me faz sentir tão bem com o país em que vivo, parece incrível mas às vezes até fico emocionada (coitadinha de mim loool) ao aperceber-me da sorte que tenho em poder ver coisas tão bonitas todos os dias. Não dava valor nenhum a Portugal mas acho mesmo que a sua beleza me conquistou e não me importo nada de utilizar esta plataforma para fazer com que vos conquiste também. Kiss, Catarina.

As a typical Portuguese at Sundays, yesterday I went for a drive to Ribeira. I love the cafes just above the Douro river and the outdoor fireplaces, everything makes me feel so good about the country I live in, it seems incredible but sometimes I even get emotional (poor me loool) when I realise how lucky I am to see such beautiful things every day. Before I didn't give any value to Portugal but I think its beauty has conquer me and I don't care at all to use this platform to make it conquer you too. Kiss, Catarina.

Olá meus caros leitores, hoje decidi levantar-me cedo e mexer um bocado estas pernas que estão bem a precisar, e acabei por sentir uma vontade imensa de repetir. Hello my dear readers, today I decided to get up early and move a bit these legs that are in desperate need, and I ended up feeling a strong urge to repeat. It's amazing the energy we get after a morning like this! With this, I have put my enormous talent in action and took some photographs.
